Almost every momma who reaches out to me says the same thing: "But my kids won't cooperate." And I always say the same thing back: good. Bring them anyway.

Your wild, dramatic kids who refuse to sit still are exactly who I show up for. As a momma of two myself, I have seen every flavor of kid chaos there is. It does not scare me.

How It Actually Works

I don't do "everybody smile on command." I give kids something to do. Chase each other. Run to mom. Spin in a circle. Tickle their little brother. Kids who are moving and playing don't have time to be stiff and awkward, and the emotions that come out during movement are the ones worth capturing.

Kids don't perform for strangers. They perform for people who play with them. I come into sessions ready to be ridiculous. Weird sounds, silly walks, bad jokes. By the time your kid is cracking up at something I did, they've completely forgotten there's a camera pointed at them. That's when the magic happens.

Meltdowns? I keep shooting. That little face still wet with tears looking up at momma while she wipes their cheek is often the most beautiful image in the whole gallery. Real life isn't always sunshine, and the honest moments are the ones you'll treasure most.

Half of what makes kids unravel at sessions is picking up on their momma's stress. When you're anxious that everything will go wrong, they feel it. My job is to make the whole thing feel low-stakes and genuinely fun, so you can stop managing your kids and just be with them while I do mine.
